enough backpressure!??
Hey guys, I'm going to finish my exhaust tomorrow on the hatch, I'm putting on unequal length shorties, O/R h-pipe and retaining the mufflers (2 chamber vortex) that I have right now. Am I going to lose a large amount of backpressure? I remember on the vert with the straight pipes (no cats, no muffs no nothing besides 2.5" tubing running to the tail) I had almost a "turbo lag" (minus the turbo though lol) and I don't have that with the stock exhaust now on the hatch, I've got lots of bottom end torque. Where's all of my power going to be at after this exhaust is done or should it be a pretty even gain across all of the rpm's?

It will be at the higher rpms. Our cars are torque powerhouses bc of all the restictions that ford put on the cars. the cats and the small diameter on the pipes restict for more torque not hp

Whenever you restrict your exhaust you are going to loose some of your low end but you should gain in in the mid-high end of your car. You shouldnt loose that much though.
