Need more money! lol, after I get a new front end on the vert it is going to be sold, I'm returning it to all stock and I might just paint it back to white. The last things that I have to do is put the exhaust back on the vert and take the new c.d. player out of it and put it into the hatch. (hatch) I might just grind down some off of the steering shaft (easiest solution) it's rubbing right on the knuckle of the steering shaft so if I grind some off of it, it's not going to affect it's strength in any way.

also remember verts use different motor mounts than hatches and coupes. but the main problem is there mac equal length headers. equals arent worth the trouble.

I have heard lots of problems with MAC's. I have BBK long tubes with a Flaming River manual rack and the shaft rubs abit with those, but with shorties I wouldn't think it would especially having the stock shaft.

I'm going to do some hitting and cutting today and it will work! lol. Is there supposed to be like a valve noise, or is that because my header bolts have probably already been stretched and need to be re-torqued.

more then likly your motor mounts are bad.... Invest in some NEW CONVERTIBLE mounts.. They are better mounts. this will probably get your motor up more and the headers off the steering shaft.
