They're just trying to cover their asses. It may be okay, but will vary from one car to the next. they don't want someone to throw a combo together and come back w/ bent valves and say "You said it should work!"

I'm just surprised that they're worried about it at .530.....

yeah its kinda suck because im leanin towards the TFS stage1 cam and that means the exhaust side is goin up to like .548 :-/ I wanted to go with a comp cams xtreme energy cam but they're way more pricey and i cant find any around the .500 lift range...

U must have 1.72's also! That's the problem I'm facing. I'm gonna get TW's and maybe go down to 1.7's just to be safe. Right now I've got an E cam in the 306 I'm rebuilding, but I'm REALLY thinking about TFS stage 1 instead.

BTW, that's a nice Cobra....
