Default Loss of Power, among other things

Well...I was drivin around the other day...and I noticed my car was running alittle warmer than normal. I got out and checked it...and then heard a noise... went and got some advice and the guy Guessed that the noise was the smog pump...that's been capped off..and I guess the valves jacked up or somethin...so I'm gettin rid of the smog pump now. The runnin-too-warm part...(the guy guessed) was the clutch fan. This sound right???

Then I was driving home yesterday from work...got in the car...rolled down the window and drove home. Got home and tried rolling up the window..and Nothin. I took it to my dad's mechanice today and he had to..rebuild/fix the window motor. Then he goes to move it..and it doesn't start.
The damn fuel pump went out..so I had to get a new one of those..and then he put it in.
Now I've noticed I've lost quite a bit of power from a stop. I don't think it'd be the fuel pump (should increase alittle..maybe..right?:S) But I was thinkin maybe cuz it's running a lot warmer than normal...

Would it be the clutch fan?? or could it be a thermostat..or what?:S Also...if I were going to get a new fan...which one should I get? Clutch Fan... Flex Fan or Electric Fan???

First what size fuel pump did you put in the car?
Second have you changed the fuel filter?
Put in a 180 thermo good upgrade anyways
