is the gt40p a good head to go with or waste of money not wanting to spend alot and what kind of power out of them would i see have stock heads for now but looking to buy in next couple of weeks

how much can you afford and what is the price on the gt-40p? there is alot better out there

You'll see some decent gains w/ the P head, especially for the price! I see used sets for $200-400 all day long, sometimes w/ rockers. If you know how to port or clean them up some, you can get even more out of them....

All that being said, it also depends on your combo. If you're stock, you won't see as much out of them. If you have an larger MAF, TB, or intake manifold, you will see some good gains though.
