Default Completely new, looking for advice.

Hey guys, I just found out I am getting an '87 GT fox body auto. I have been lurking these forums ever since. Probably the only thing that has kept me from losing my mind waiting for it to get here is reading your posts. Well I am going to put on a 2.5" catback (its in my garage right now). Any other suggestions?

Congrats on the purchase I hope you get her soon! Try this link https://mustangforums.com/m_725224/tm.htm It has been kind of hidden but its at the top of the page and really helps out with starting mods. GL First thing I would do however is convert her over to mass air if it has not been done already.

yeh 4.10 gears a shift kit along with full exhaust. Then a Cold air intake, 65mm throttle body, 73mm MAF, upper and lower control arms and subframe connectors. That should waken the car up. You may want to look into some new springs, shocks, struts, and caster camber plates.

Wow guys thanks for all the advice. I know I am gonna need the 4.10s but I doubt I will be able to install. I have a 2.5" pypes catback system for it, and some KRC diamond smoke headlights, which I think are gonna look great. Here are a couple of pics of my car.

looks good. Might want to look into a paint job a little later on.

EDIT: depending on if you keep the car, about the paint.
