Your first mistake was doing this on a public road.

Your second mistake was going for this amount of distance.

Your third mistake was being in 5th and dropping down to 2nd gear, causing a lock up of the rear tires and causing the rear end to spin, which at the speed you were probably going, even if you hit the clutch in I doubt you would be able to recover.

You're fourth mistake is having a vehicle that is powerful enough to do this and not be able to drive it because of your skill level (lack there of).
