stock to stock? well its according to which model i guess. i like the 5.0 myself. i feel its alot more flexible, so many things to do to one and alot simpler. i cant get into mod motors. only real power adder is...well, a power adder. 5.0 hands down!!!

i had a 98 4.6 and now i have a 95 5.0. i often wonder stock for stock which one would win. i can say my buddy that works on stangs hated working on 4.6s but loves to work on the 5.0

i think the 94-95 had 225 hp and the 96-98 had 215 but the 99-04 had like 260. them 3 valve in 05 has 300

Depending on what year....87-93 stangs > 96-98 stang
87-93 stangs > (94-95) 5.0's
87-93 stangs < (99-06)
But for the most part it will be a drivers race,, the 87-93 will edge out on them, cause the fox are the lightest.

i had a 97 and i loved how smooth the ride was. the 5.0 is so much easier to work on and alot cheaper compared to the 4.6. i think that there equaly as fast so yeah it would e a drivers race
