well there are a couple of other things that will keep your car from running that is heat related.
coil.
module.
coolant temp
what's the other sensor on the intake?
pump
gas vent tube could be blocked too


there are alot of variables here...also some of these sensors will just cause your comp. to go in safe mode/but won't kill the car

i even had a car that the inertia switch was bugged out too
