Does it do anything? Click? Motor turn? Try to start? Any thing?

Yes, it tries to start it just wont fire and I have spark and fuel. Everyone once in a while it will sound like a small back fire, but it sounds like it comes from the header area and not at the exhaust.

^^^ it does sound like the timing is off.
On the fan, do you have thermostat control, if so it will not run until the water heats up.

It does have a thermostat control. I will probably take another suggestion and just wire it to a switch. I have disconnected that for now until I can get it started.
My first thought was timing as well, but I just couldn't believe that I could have it that far off (180 degrees). Just for my own clarification, the number 1 cylinder needs to be at TPC and the distributor rotor needs to be pointed at the number 1 cylinder, correct?
