I have a friend that works there his car was painted there. It looks great really nice pearl white. I was up there looking around I saw a black porsche that was painted single stage its seriously looked like a factory paint job. Another friend of mine had his car painted there for free he gave everyone nice tips and paid for the paint the outside of the car was 2nd stage it looked really good but the engine bay was single. He liked the single stage engine bay better it was shinier of something so one night he went up to the shop and scratched the car up and told them the next day to repaint it. That guy is nuts tho the car looked incredible. So if you really want them to paint it give everyone tips and make friends.

Each Maaco is individually owned. To say they all do a bad job is just like making a generalized racist stereotype. Every shop is different, and thus, you could pay the same amount of money at 2 different Macco shops and get 2 completely outcomes. What you need to do is find people with personal expiriences at that specific Maaco. I've seen some amazing Maaco jobs, and some that just make you feel sick. And how much you pay does make a big difference, too. The low budget ones are just an enamel type paint, which doesn't look as good to me. And it also depends on whether you want a 1 stage of 2 stage job, too.

I'm getting a Maaco job done soon. I brought this thread back from the grave, because I didn't wanna re-post it, and have people jump all over me for beating a dead horse.
