Contaol arms and shocks
ok as I understand it if I put upper and lower control arms on my fox then i can run any shock i want correct?, instead of the "quad shock".
What is a quad shock and y do i need to get rid of it?

Ummm....no...kind of.
The quad shocks are smaller shocks that help reduce wheel hop due to the weak stock control arms (completely seperate from your rear shocks/springs). UPR and JD's performance sell sets of U/L's for $159 & $169. You will be able to run wider tires/wheels w/o the quads, also.
