i hear more about afr but i think its just personal preference above anything else. if all the numbers are the same, then it should be the same.

Any reason why? Just curious mainly. I wouldn't buy any TF, TEA or anything from summit but I have my own reasons.

I have Trick flow track heat intake 24# injectors 75mm maf 75mm tb, 19lph fuel pump, e303 cam, cold air intake. I was thinking about the AFR 165's but im worried about piston to valve clearance. The guy from trick flow said that with the twisted wedge head, i wouldnt have to worry about it.

The twisted wedge from Trick flow has the valves rotated to "unshroud" the intake valve. This can create piston to valve clearances I was told. With AFR, you'll get the same if not better flowing head that is still an inline head and shouldn't have to worry about valve clearance as much.

Also, with TF's TW's you have to get their special pistons to run any big cam.

ive heard that twisted wedges put a beating on the valvetrain due to the obtuse angle of the pushrods to the rockers.

i'm not going to start anything, but i found something out today....trickflow is using a different metal supplier....

i used to diecast alum...and we stopped buying from a certian supplier(japan..since we make alot of their parts...kinda a catch 22)

castings are very weak..alot of porosity aka airholes...which means a high tendancy of failed leak tests/pressure.
