thanks for the input. getting ready to get new tires and was wondering, "whats the widest tire i can fit in the rear on my 95 gt?". i have 98/99 17" gt wheels on it that are either 9.5 or 10" wide, car is lowered and i have 275/40s on it now. wanted to see if i could fit a 315/35 on it.. any input would be great. thanks

im fairly positive that there 17x8 not by 9.5 or 10 if there the wheels in your avatar there definetly not that big. so your at the limit with 275's..... if you for sure had a 9 in wheel you could do it

just check the width with a tape measure, looks to be 9".. thanks..
