By using either a protractor or a specially made gauge.

how do you know what the right pinion angle is? I also just read Do NOT use urethane bushings in the upper arms to improve the side to side motion of the axle and it will bind up the suspension, anyone heard of this?

If you lower your car it may be a good idea to get adjustable uppers to set the right pinion angle...

RE: about upper lower control arms..
guys, read thru maximum motor sports web site.
they explain much about what each part of the rear
4 link is supposed to do and why and why they
replace what they do.
they also talk aobut different types of bushings
for different locations.
Best info I've seen out there on really explaining
what the improved part is supposed to be up-grading

get a Torque Arm, lower control arms and panhard bar from Max Motor
and you can throw away the upper control arms and quad shocks

RE: about upper lower control arms..
Your quad shocks are the smaller shocks on the rear axle...they help reduce wheel hop b/c the stock U/L control arms suck. If you get aftermarket U/L's you don't need the quads b/c the new control arms are strong enough to control wheel hop on their own.
UPR and JD's performance have sets of U/L's for $159-169 that are good quality, just not adjustable.

Maximum Motorsports are a VERY reputable company BUT they are VERY expensive. If you want the best product for your money under 1 billion dollars for a suspension go with D&D Motorsports.
