Default 4.10 to 3.73 gears?

hey all...im a newb so if this question seems stupid it prolly is lol...if i want to drive my stang more often than on the weekends, wouldnt 3.73 gears be more reasonable considering gas prices instead of 4.10 gears?

There really is not that much difference between 4.10's and 3.73's. Performance wise theres a difference but gas wise its not much. If its an auto the least I would go is 4.10's. Manual at the least I would go with 3.73's. Some people will tell you 3.55's etc. but I dont like them. Its all personal opinion.

actually it does matter, are you driving in the city or on the highway, if your driving in the city 4.10s would be better then 3.73's but if your driving highway get 3.55's. esp if its a normal driver, but then again its all a matter of opinion.

ive had 3:55 and 3:73. i could tell a world of difference just between them. i would never go back to 3:73 unless i hung up my fast

hey i have another question...whats your mpg? just wondering because i know i wont have great gas mileage with my 5.0 but i was just wanting to know around what ill be getting...thnx in advance

It is personal opinion, I would go with 3.73's at the lowest if your not on the highway all day long.

i really aint sure exactly but i cant really tell from stock gears to 3:73. so it couldnt hurt that bad
