I talked to a guy today about purchasing another 5.0 for $1000. it is not in good shape body wise, but it has cobra rims, COBRA BRAKES(!), a five speed (i really wanna do the swap), and it has the same color interior as mine so i will be able to get the seat belt covers that are cracked in mine, the rear hatch plastic which is cracked, and the console, which still has a working door. Is this a good deal, considering all the parts on it? He wants to keep the engine, which i told him was fine b/c mine runs really well.

arent the cobra brakes worth over a grand? and the rims and tires are worth 600+, not to mention the interior bits. i'm not looking for another stock 5.0, i just think the parts off of this one will greatly improve mine.

i tried to get him down already, he is firm at 1000, he said something about cosigner on the loan. i assume money is still owed on the car
