I was reading a lot of posts about clutches since I needed one and most everyone said their spec clutch needed about 500 miles for the chatter to go away. Just don't drive it crazy for a while.

don't worry unless it keeps doing it after 500-700 miles. Actually, I think someone said it took them 1000 until it went away. Don't quote me on that though.

It took me most of the summer to break it in.
The chatter is normal and will go away.

Ok I got a King cobra clutch and my clutch doent chatter or anything, hell, I put it in and lined it up and i was back in business....I love my king cobra clutch...the only regret with the clutch is that the pedal is too light...My other stang had a spec, and I like the heavy pedal more than the light pedal feel, thats just what I like though
