k&n is the best in the besiness, and the cai kits do not use k&n, i would buy one when the one you got needs replaeing or cleaning. no aair filter is the only way to run the 1/4 mile.
you actually need an air filter for fuel injection setups. they smoothe
out the flow alittle bit. look it up if you dont believe me. its also a very bad
idea to do it. since so much can be sucked into the intake
exactly.. its not worth the tiny bit you might gain at the track if you suck up a rock or something

rocks burn hotter than nitrous, little extra power, im joking, and when i recomended geting a k&N i asumed it would be used on the car

some of the guys here have been putting a tight mesh like what is on the stock maf..seems to work. I use a filter
