i take my time.. but why bother on this when i only need to advance my timing once. maybe twice and by the second time (hopefully) i'll have my rebuilt motor

yea you need to keep your timing in check, i dont know how , but it can move. i think the comp. can glitch sometimes and throw it off since it is the real one in control.

because for the last few months i have have been taking my intake off and putting it back on over and over, and i take my dizzy out because it is in my way so i have to set my timing, and i check it on friday night when its nice and i know i might get someone trying to run me.

yea the reason you unplug the spout is to make the computer take to the new adjustment in timing. ive seen em move on people too so it couldnt be anything else but the comp.

o ok... well tomorrow i';m getting new spark plugs so i'll advance the timing then and see how it goes from there
