Another possibility is sludge. A can of engine flush is a cheap way to find out. Flush it and see if it changes or goes away.

Well when I take it to a mechanic I will let you guys know. As for the Sludge I flushed it once already, seemed to go away for a few days but it came back so I doubt that is the problem, but Im up for an oil change again so we'll see what happens. I didnt know that Intake/Exhaust leaks make "ticking", "clicking" sounds, but I can almost bet it is a lifter cuz I listened to it and it was coming from that area of the engine, the bad thing is that I think it's more than 1 cuz I can hear it from both sides of the engine, but what do I know, Im still an amatuer.

Something to watch on flushes is that some of them are only diesel fuel or kerosene. Stop and think about what you said in your last post. It went away but came back. The flush wasn't good enough to disolve everything.

GMKiller guess what you might be right it might be due to the gaskets, I got under the hood and my Gaskets are busted!!!!, they are leaking on both sides, and pretty sick too. I just bought some Felpro gaskets, and I'll be changing them in the next couple of days. I mean they are bad, they have left carbon deposits like you said, I guess the gaskets the BBK Headers came with are worth nothing, well as soon as I change the gaskets I'll give you an update and let you know if the sound has gone away.
