Well Ive reached the first opportunity to put a mod on my car. It already has a few but I just want to add something that will give me a significance in hp and torque, because right now the car isnt as fast as i want it to be. Possibly its because I cant really drive it well haha but yeah i'd just like to add a part on that would give me more power and mpg. I was thinking about a diablo chip, but I have no clue if they are good and will give me more mpg. I'm a teenager and this is my first car, so I baby it, not dog it. But I would just like it to be a little quicker. I was also going to invest in a short throw shifter, because the stock shifter just sucks flat out. When I shift to second, half the time its hard to go in etc. I have 200 dollars, What do you think I should do to my car? Or if you have any other suggestions, I could get a couple more hundred after I sell something, So just post up what you think I should get for my 93 gt.

I wouldn't spend a dime on mods until I made sure that my tranny was in good shape. You may need the money for repairs.

Well, I am staying away from N20 because all that will do is wear your internals quick. Thanks for your input though



Whats the best shifter for the money? I was looking at a Pro 5.0 but I've heard a few cons about them.


Also does anyone know about the diablochips?

Question, also while shifting, only in second its like a popping sometimes when i shift, like somethings rattling... im not to sure whats going on? its only temporary and its not loud, but i feel it.

^^^^ agreed might wanna save some money and make sure the trans is good before throwing more power to it.
Besdies that $200 will not do much for a mod and be noticable difference unless its a gear.

wow i musta missed that, yea if u got tranny problems id get the fixed 1st. at least try flushing it and putting some new fluid in.
