went out and got a set of cobra manifolds to replace the stock ones on my 1991 GT also changong throttle body. it started off easy i removed the stock egr& throttle body then got to the three bolts I thought were holding the upper manifold down. But it won't budge. Any thing i may have over looked? Also any one with instructions or a website with instructions(removal or reinstall) would be appreciated.

RE: manifolds
If I remember correctly there are 6 bolts down each side of the lower holding it to each head for a total of 12 bolts. There are also some of these in stud form the hold brackets and wires that need to be dealt with before the can be removed from the intake. The you should be good to go.

RE: manifolds
I'm not sure if there's a specific name for it...
Disconnect your battery and leave it off for ~20 minutes before reconnecting it. Your computer should re-adjust to the new airflow. Also, get a larger MAF sensor if you have the $....it'll allow more air to your motor.

RE: manifolds
I dont know what it is called, but be very careful when you go to install it into your new intake as it is steel and the intake is aluminum, you can cross thread it with your fingers alone! So beware, take your time, and get it in there straight.
