always buy forged! hypos suck! look on summit, they have alot of brands. ross, eagle, etc. are great!

If you are not going with a blower or nitrous the KB 281 pistons are a great buy for the dollar. You just need to gap the rings(top ring) acording to KB specs. The later 5.0 liter Ford engines came with hyperutectic pitons similar to the KB and they take punishment. I paid $231.00 for them from Summit Racing and I had to have the engine balanced. These are a good piston and they are very very light. You will have great results with them as long as you install them properly.
