no i adjusted it cause it was sitting at 50 psi. and i know thats too high for a N/A 5 liter with 24lb injectors.
well i went out and checked every spark plug and they all look identical and none of them looked bad. but after doing that it started running a little worse. seems like every time i try to fix something with it, it just makes the situation worse. hell now at idle the engine has even started knocking, and its running hot again

do you have a 3G alt. conversion? Cause if you dont with a electric fan it does that. I chased a mis-fire for like 4 months, turned out the alt was going out the whole time. Finally replaced it with a 3G and everything was fine again. Headlights were brighter, etc.

well i dont know if i would trust the way you checked the FP, i would try setting the FP back up and see what it does. only go a lil at a time since you do not have agauge.

yeah i have a 3g alt, its about 3 weeks old. I did adjust the FP back up about half of what i took it down, and it didnt change at all. Im just kind of out of ideas now....i really dont know what the knocking its doing is about either....

well since its fuel injected it could be your mass airflow since you tried everything else i know when the thing was going bad in my 4cyl car my car felt like it was running off aabout 2-3 cylinders

i really doubt its a burnt valve, ive put about 50 miles on it since this all started...its not knocking today either. Im almost wondering if its a clogged injector. since this did start happening after i changed the fuel filter, im wondering if i accidently got some dirt in the clean side of the filter or fuel line.

oh and i already have a new MAF coming anyway, but that was to cure a different problem.

um what fuel did you run in the car last? and where did you get it? if you have a code reader you can do a injector test.
