ive got 18's, 10"wide rears and im going prokit. mines heated and lowered 1 7/8ths right now and it still has a gap so im going with sportlines. i know theyll work.
ORIGINAL: 95Stealth302

If I want to put 18" rims on my 95 GT along with new shocks and struts, should I go with the prokit or the sportlines for good clearance??
What are you saying here? That you have the prokit and it's still really high, so now your going to get some sportlines???

Again, who has 18" rims on an SN95 and do you have prokit or sportlines keeping in mind that I have speedbumps to contend with.

oh...lmao! i meant sportline instead of prokit. ill explain it again. i have mine heated down about 1/12 inches which is about a prokit, right? but my gap is still like a heavy 1 1/2 right now in the front and about 1 1/4 in the back. so i tihkn the prokit will set me down to about an inch gap in front and inch in the back. after looking at it i know itll work without scrubbing. ill be ok on speedbumps too. itll scrub bumps if you lower it any at all, mine does now. but you have to go into them from a side angle and it wont scrub. speedbumps suck but you can get over them without scrubbing if you hit them right.

LOL still confused. So you had your stock suspension heated down 1.5inches, which is the same as the prokit. But there's still to big a gap, so now you think that sportlines might be a good choice?? I might get my rims and tires and put them on and measure the gap to figure out how low I want it to go.

ill simplify that a little. heated springs i have are about 1 1/2 in lowered. i have 1 1/2 in. gap right now and the sportlines will fill the gap better. mine is lowered about where the prokit would lower and its too high.

its according to how high they are. i never scrub them because i go into them at an angle. but if theres some bigazz bumps you might.
