Default Transmission Swap
Does a 89 mustang gt auto have a hole for the clutch peddle in order to install a t-5. Also how hard is the instal

yes the speedo cable comes thru it u have to move the cable about 1.5inches to the left there is a hole with a plug in it goes here when converting to a 5spd!~

Mine came w/ the T5, but it used to be an auto. It doesn't look like that hard of a swap. You'll just need the parts. I'm even still using the A9P (auto) computer.
