Rebuilding my 5.0 engine
K well i've decided that im rebuilding my 5.0 Engine. Any things I should know before I go ahead and do this? I'm doing this with a group of friends who are all going to auto school and know what they are doing. I am looking at this kit from summit racing. Tell me if this is a good kit. If not show me a better one from that site.

RE: Rebuilding my 5.0 engine
Nice i love 5.0's, i have but one very simple sugestion, and that is to "Stroke" that winsdor to a 3.25" stroke or 3.4 "
Why? becouse its the easest way to gain Cubes and it cost almost exactly the same if you were to use a stock crank. The old crank im guessing has at least 100,000 mi, am i right>? so your gonna need to get a new one and balance it, that means new rods pistons and baerings, so why not step up to an aftermarket stroker crank setup (there are actually cheaper deals out there on the net, cheaper than a stock replacemenmt from Ford!!!)
So good luck!!!
