Default Air Ride Suspension

I was just wondering if anyone has experience with air ride equipt fox bodies. I am just looking for any comments/experiences. Advantages/Disadvantages?

I was looking at this kit from Air Ride Technologies. The car will be driven on the street 80% of the time. Its just going to be my 418W weekend driver. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks alot.

If you do have experience with it, hows the ride quality? handling? launch quality?

I can tell you that when my LSC was stock, it would handle better than stock Mustangs. The LSC has three settings (low, mid, high). Keep in my mind, I have Kenny Brown suspension components (front/rear control arms). I have brand new Ford airbags and a new aftermarket air pump. All work together flawlessly. I can take exits doing 60mph+ with hardly any body roll.

The noticable difference which I believe looks cool as hell, is that fact that the rear of my car will rise when doing a burnout, stepping on the gas while cruising, or simply launching. Looking at other cars doing the same, they appear to slouch.

Go to Lincolnsonline.com or FordvsChevy.com to read more on the air ride system.

Good Luck,
BMN

^^ Sounds nice. The only thing is... I want an all around good car. I want something thats going to be able to drive smooth, corner hard, and be able to hook HARD at the track.

Do you think a Mustang rides smoother than a Lincoln? Even with my suspension upgrades, I know my LSC will provide a smoother ride than a Mustang when I put all 391rwhp/400rwtq to the rear tires. Go to Lincolnsonline.com and talk to LSCMAN. He, as well as others on that site, road races his LSC. He has raced and beaten Corvettes, Porsches, BMW's and yes even Mustang's all day long using the the stock air ride suspension.

There are some that will modify their LSC's by taking out the air bag system and installing a coil conversion, however, if you are used to the air ride system, you will immediately notice the difference in ride quality.

I am not saying your Mustang will react with the same manners as the LSC, but I cannot see it deteriorating either.
