Default Porting stock heads?

Just wondering if someone could talk to me for a moment about porting stock heads. Has anyone had nice power gains from doing so?

Default RE: Porting stock heads?

I'll let you know when I get my car back together.

I took a decent amount out of the intake side and smoothed the curves a little, and then took out a pretty good amount on the exhaust side, including the thermactor bumps. I also did this on heads that were dipped, magnafluxed and had a 3-angle valve job done on them.

BTW, I did it all w/ my Dremel and some of the grinding bits.
