Default hp?

i am buying this mustang for $6600. how much horse power do you think it has i'm guessing around 350 but i have no clue. and does this sound like a good deal? its in mint condition original miles is 150000.

1989 Mustang LX 5.0, has DSS 306 stroker longblock, trickflow aluminum heads, GT-40 intake manifold, 65mm throttle body, ford motorsport headers, flowmaster exhaust, T5-Z tranmission, ford motorsport clutch, ford motorsport aluminum radiator, aluminum driveshaft, 3:55 gears with posi rear-end, BAER 4 wheel adjustable disc brakes, subframe connectors, caster/camber plates, KONI YELLOW shocks/struts, Global bushings, Global rear control arms, lowering springs, pro 5 short throw shifter, K&N intake. Motor, tranny and other performance parts have aprox. 38,000 miles. Over $12,000 invested!

thank you

5oo hp.700 tq

why does it matter what it makes as long as it gets itself down the strip. a supra makes 800hp and only goes 12s. so where does hp figures come in to play

buying a strangers toy is never a good idea, if you have the time and patients build your own, but cant do the same for $6,600. I would say the car is a good deal if you have money set aside to rebuild the motor, or say $5,800 is a good price, too stress the fact an abused car is not a good idea and i doubt if the was built to set in the garage, 38,000 miles a 1/4 at a time is alot. the hp at the wheels is prally around 250-275 and should not have a tracsioin prob. the car sounds like it was set up for road course but still very hard on a CAR.

as 306 is not a stroker just .30 over on the last rebuild, the displament was in creased by 4 CIs but not a whole lot of ponies are found in 4 CIs.

They are talking about rear wheel horsepower not flywheel. A stock 5.0 runs around 185 horsepower at the wheels stock
