WHAT THE F*** CAUSED THIS?!?
So I thought that I narrowed my problem down to being a couple injectors possibly being clogged...but to take my intake off and see this i just didnt know what to do. How does this happen? never heard someone talking about it yet so I am asking now, how do I fix the cause of this???

Thats the passage that goes to your EGR, that gas that goes through that duct can be like 1500-2000 degree's ive heard. If i were you, ed get me an EGR delete kit so you can block that hole off in the intake. Thats what i did. Keeps heat from the upper intake also.

After looking at it again I can see that it is a spacer. I know that a gasket that goes there usually has a metal ring there for the egr, did the spacer? Did you use gaskets?

yes thats a phelonic spacer. It hasnt been backfiring or anything like that. I took my intake off cause i thought i ended up with a clogged fuel injector due to changing my fuel filter. And I saw this. I already deleted my EGR stuff, minus blocking that hole off. Sound like a good *** idea now. I dont know if i can get one for the trick flow intake though.
