are you still running a stock alt.? you really need a 130amp w/ an electric fan
did you run the codes w/ the car hot or cold? a cold engine will throw false codes sometimes

yea i have seen that blue, its brake cleaner marked MAF cleaner and its 2 dolla more lol. also if he has a eletric fan and it runs all the time that is going to give you a bunch of voltage issue codes, because it is pulling so hard when it idles.

ORIGINAL: 90Mustangfan

I have a feeling that my car is running like crap due to electrical reason....No corrsion on the wires, heres the deal with my electrical sys, I have a manual electric fan, the car has good voltage but when I flick on the manual electric fan, it drops the voltage in the red or right above the red on the volt gauage...and when the fans on and I use the power windows, it makes all my gauges move up about an a half inch, and it makes my tach read 100rpm higher and when ever I use the window it makes the needles on my gaunges move up and down, I have a feeling my car doesnt run good on topend bacause with the fan on and radio, it strains the electrical system and I dont get a complete spark, thats why it feels like my motor is fightthing itself like its not burning all the fuel...
You might want to check your grounds, specially the engine-to-firewall strap behind the RH head, if the alternator is not keeping up with demand, is not a cause for problems with your gauges....a bad ground system though, will cause the gauges to react like you describe. A bad ground can also cause problems with the MAF readings. Suggest you upgrade the alternator anyway, or install a DCC controller for the fan, it goes easy on the current requirements to drive the fan, and the alternator. My 2¢.

I have a upgraded alt, its a 130amp w/ underdrive pullies, I redid all the ground I replace the ground that goes from the back of the lower intake mani. to the firewall, for the Hego sensors are all new, and the other grounds are good. i also have my tps set, to .99 and I have cleaned the maf about 4-5 times in about a 2 month. All those things are working great. I did these codes at normal running temp, i did both koeo and koer when it was at operation temp.

The story on the trans
i took out the trans and took it to them, they did the rebuild and every was fine, then 2 weeks later, 2nd gear goes out
I take it back and they fix it, but when I got the trans back i had a differnt case, I installed the trans in the car, No there is a sensor missing, the different trans they gave back to doesnt have a spot for the Vechical speed sensor and it whines and grinds, so I drive the car back because it would die after i take it out of gear because of no VSS, they do another whole rebuild and put in another trans w/ the sensor, so I get car back, and it still whine and grinds and leaks, So I take it back and they do another rebuild and all that, when i get the car back again, it grinds in 5th and whines at idle and in 1st gear and still dies after I take it out of gear, well I chesk it out and they didnt hook up the VSS and they just glues it to te trans to make it look like its hooked up, thats why I get the code for that, so im going to have to take it back agian. Im so mad that this is the 4th time they have to redo it, Im going to tell them next time if they dont do it right I want my money back and im taking them to court.
