What do you think?
Whats up guys, I'm in the process of rebuilding my motor and all that good stuff and I was just wondering if anyone ran a similar set up as I'm going to be running, and if thats the case, what do you think I'll put to the wheels.
I've got a 302, Stock botom end with new rod and main bearings,New rings, e303 cam, 1.6 roller rockers, CP/Stock heads with 1.9 Valves and mild porting, and all new seals. Victor Jr High Rise manifold, Demon 725 carb, 2.5 pipes all the wway back with mac shorties. MSD 6A, MSD Blaster coil, MSD Billet distribtor and wires. New dbl rolle timing chain, 11 degree timming and lightened flywheel. 3.73's in the rear and a short throw and thats about it.. Oh yeah, and a 100 shot of nitrous. So anyone know the est HP on, and off the nitrous?

We have a similar set up with a set of 72 heads that are home ported and still have the tiny 1.78 intakes and 1.54 exhaust valves. We are running a lessor flat hydraulic Ford Racing cam, terrible(1 1/2 inch primary) long tube headers, dual plane intake and a 750 doulbe pump carb. The car has 3.73 gears and with slicks has run 12.71 with a 1.70 short time and 107 mph. I put this into TCI's web site and the HP is estimated to be 300. You have a more aggressive set up and better stuff. I say 300 on engine no problem and 400 with the hose on it. You may find high 11's on the hose with traction if you are running a 5 spd like us.
