just put motor back in problem
my motor has been pulled out of my car for about a month cleaning painting and detaling everything i also bought a paxton novi1000 supercharger for it and installed it while the motor was out me and my buddy just put eveything back to gether including putting the tranny and bellhousing back on the motor to we put it back in the car and the motor seemes to be tilted upwards in the front and the supercharger is to high for hood to clear it seems to be sitting cockeyed but the tranny seens to be in the right place because i have the crossmember mounted up and bolted in i thought it could be the motor mounts but i checked and checked and there are in right and i have also rechecked the supercharger to make sure it is in right and it is DOES ANYONE HAVE A CLUE WHAT ELSE NIGHT BE THE PROBLEM there is also a nice gap between the oil pan and the front crossmember that shows the motor is some how sitting to high please help

RE: just put motor back in problem
It sounds like there is something missing in between the trans and the crossmember...causing the trans to hang low, in turn lifting up the front of the motor, causing your supercharger to hit the roof. Did you put the trans mount in that goes between the trans and crossmember?? It might be a stupid question, but its the first thing that comes to mind. Check it out and let me know.

RE: just put motor back in problem
Is it the same motor mounts and K-member as you had when you pulled it out? I had this issue when I changed the K-member to a tubular. I had to go to Convertable mounts to get the SC back under the hood.
