Default now to my overheating problem

my w/p is underdriven... i've heard a lot of guys gripe about u/d pulleys but i dont think that should be the problem especially at a near stock car. I replaced the w/p a few months ago, no leaks. i put an electric fan on, which i know pulls less CFM than it should but i've seen guys with turbos on 5.0's run weaker pusher fans and have no probems even on the stock radiator. when i got the coolant system flushed when i bought it the tech(my friend) said there seemed to be a a restiction cuz the water was coming out slowly. I have a 180degree thermostat and a new rad cap, the mixture is prolly 75water/25coolant, but I'm in texas so not worried about the mixture being 50/50. My thought is that the radiator is clogged(if not its the block, god i hope not). So I think i'll step up to an aluminum rad, and if that isnt the problem i'll prolly sell the fan i have and get an aftermarket fan actually meant for the stang. if all else fails i might have to find a stock pulley and try that.

it sounds like the rad. is clogged, you've replaced everything else
but you might want to upgrade the elec. fan too

yeah the fan is some brand i cant even remember from autozone that is meant for Max of 250CID v6, so i'll prolly buy a mustang specific or else look for a mark VIII fan, i hear those are the way to go as far as OEM is concerned. I've been waiting to get an aluminum radiator so this will be my excuse

you should use more freez than water because it dose not cause build up in the motor and the rad.
