Would it be worth getting my stock intake ported ? Usually how much does this cost ? thanks

Not unless you do the heads to. But them when you have them off you might as well throw the stock heads in the garbage and get a set of nice aluminum ones.

i got some P heads to put on....Doin a cam too. I want to get a gt40 intake or a cobra but i keep getting outbid on ebay, cuz i'm on a tight budget here. Would it be cheaper to get a gt40 or cobra intake rather tahn port mine ? Prolly see alot more gains from gt40 rather than ported one ?

if your going to get your intake ported just get the lower done, that's the bottle neck. if anything just find yourself an exporer manifold that you can play with. as for the gt40/cobra the gt40 tubular will make the most power, flowed by the cobra. pluse if you get the gt40 you can always have that ported

You should be able to find something on ebay or go for the Exploder intake. If you live in/near a large city, look for a 'pick-a-part' type junkyard and get one there, you'll pull it yourself but they sell them cheap.....

A new Ford Racing Cobra intake can be had for 340 bucks. It would be the best way to spend money on an intake.
