okay, so i ran the koer codes and got, 94-sec air sys inoper, 44- air mngmt sys inoper, 33-canister or egr vlv not oper prop and 18-spout circuit open. now when they say spout do they mean the distributor spout. and if the air systems were inoper then wouldnt it have a bad surge in idle or die all together. just want to make some sense out of this. thx in advance.

yes, distributor spout. remove the spout connector and jump the 2 terminals with a decent sized wire, and re-run codes. if it goes away, replace spout connector.

i will give it a shot. that wouldnt be related to the other issues with the air systems. i ran the codes because it has a lack of power at wot and when first starts up. im thinking maf but not sure. cant i reset the computer for the maf. i changed it about 6 months ago and it seems to be getting worse.

the lack of power issue could be related to the spout code. the computer won't advance the timing without that spout plugged in, so effectively if it's bad, it won't advance either.

which two terminals do i jump and what do i jump them to. if i disconnect the plug and jump through it that would not change anything. or do you mean jump it to the back of the connector before it comes out the connector. if so i should have thought of it earlier.
