Recently purchased an '88 GT that is bright regatta blue metallic(7H) originally,hopin someone has a pic because mine is purple right now.ill be repainting in the spring ,but would like to know what that original color looks like.Any help would be nice.tnks.

Well its not a mustang, but my 91 Bronco is Regatta Blue. It is definately a nice colour (minus the few rusty spots that is). Here is a pic of the old girl.

thanks for the pic,i think ill keep the stock color.I just wasnt sure how dark or light it would be.But i like.

his bronco does not look the same, your car is bright regatta blue metallic. the shade is right but his just does not look like it has the right amount of metallic in it, i almost bought a car that was supposed to be that color, i wanted it so bad, its a nice color.

If you want blue, definately go with that sonic blue that neon's and a few other cars like that have, that looks SEXY on a Mustang, there's one in my city and every time I drive by it I have to stare, beautiful beautiful car. I was actually thinking about changing the colour of my car to that since it is a frame-off restoration (doors and hatch off.. and hood of course) but, I changed my mind due to... this red grew on me and the previous owner painted it properly, door jams, under hatch, partly inside doors, even under the quarter glass is painted so I decided to stick with it.. I'll find a picture of this blue i'm talking about. Besides, I really don't like that blue they put on Mustangs personally, but that's just me
