Car quits when it warms up?
I have a 88 GT. I can be driving down the highway and it will just quit. It will not start it seems unitll it cools off. What's up with that? I will never crank untill I let it set for about 20 minutes then it will fire off again.

RE: Car quits when it warms up?
mine had a similar problem. turns out my ignition module was over heating badly. my cheap and quick solution was to remove it and place some dielectric grease on the backside of the module, however, i will be purchasing a new one soon.

RE: Car quits when it warms up?
could be your coil getting too hot.

RE: Car quits when it warms up?
The TFI module will cause that.

Yea I had that problem too, it was the TFI module as well. If you replace it and it continues to go bad try the p/u coil if that's bad it can burn out the module over and over, or at lest that's what happened to mine. But I blame napa for sellign me a defective p/u coil when it broke the first time.
