cold start car dies then second start it runs
but it will run at like 500 rpms then surge up to 1100 then go back down 500 almost like it wants to die then it will do that for about 30 secs then run normal.
If i was to start the car and just drive off like after 5 secs and drive the car for like 30 secs and then let it ldle it wont do it. U think my iac is bad or maybe clogged fuel filter?
THe iac is fairly new

Do these "maintenance chores" (base idle reset, IAC/TB cleaniup, TPS recal....) and let us know how it does afterwards. GL

It sounds like the idle control valve may be slightly gummed up with "yuk" causing it to search for the proper speed. You can try cleaning the idle control valve with an intake system cleaner. BG makes a great product specifically for that job. Find a shop that sells BG products and they will instruct you how it's done. You may want to use their fuel system cleaner as well (44K). There aren't any products that will do a better job.
