Default Body work question

Alright, im converting my 89 gt to a lx, I removed the gt molding and removed the steel piece and rivets that hold the molding on... My question is, What would be the best way to fill the holes that are left behind from the rivets? Could i just body fill them, or is there a better way? Thanx

I have no experience with welding, and i cant exactly take the car somwhere to have it done right now. Is there a downfall to bodyfilling?

i agree with tim...it WILL pop out. If you do body fill it use some sort of mesh behind it to coneect to the metal. You must have something in the hole other than body fill

Use lead, body filler absorbs moisture as well so any exposed areas of it will weaken.
