Default new to the board, still need help w/tranny

hi all . start off by saying i just got my 9th mustang its a 95 gt and i need some help with it the tranny is acting funny it has all the forward gears but the reverse is not working right . if you put in reverse on flat ground and dont give it any gas it will back up but if you try to give it any gas it seems to slip . if any one knows any tricks . or knows what trannys will work in my car. please let me know!!!!
list of mustangs i've had black 88 5.0 , black 79 coupe w/351w in it , white 87 5.0 , orange 88 5.0 , white 91 conv 5.0 , white 88 2.3 , silver 93 coupe 2.3 , grey 88 2.3 , and last but least my new 95 5.0 gt

u can try an change fluid but most likely it is an internal problem.

Wow all those mustangs and never had this problem before? Lucky. Its your syncors for sure. When they start to go bad they slip when a load is put on them. Reverse is the worst gear for syncro problems and i think 60 percent of us with a t-5 have had grinding with reverse or something....i recomend eaither getting a rebuild kit or buy a new trans. The fluid might help but i doubt it. I have a g-force now but only because i plan on mad power

first off thanx for the replys!!!! but i should have been more clear . i have an automactic but thank you for all your help. my problem was i never kept them very long i hope to keep this one a little while though i only gave $500.00 bucks for it . and it already has bbk full length crome headers , bbk cold air induction , magnaflow ext. down to the tips , and a bigger throtle body by helix . but it has a lot of drunk bumps on it . it needs fenders , passenger door i can fix the hood .
