i got a 5.0 5 spd. im thinkin either 3.55 or 3.73. where do i get a speedo gear to match? or does it come with the ring and pinion, also frpp is brand im goin with i think.

Does not come with speedo gear. First off you need to know what gear is in your tranny, 7 or 8 tooth. I have a 7 tooth gear in my trans with 3.55's in the rear I need to go up from the 19 tooth (stock) to the 23 tooth gear, I'm on a 6 month waiting list through Ford though I know I can get them other places, i won't wait 6 months.

You're gonna need the white one about 5 down if you have the 7 tooth gear in your trans.

Pull your speedometer cable out of the tranny, if it's yellow it's 7 tooth if it's green it's 8 tooth (just shine a flashlight in there)

you need a 28 bro. then you might have to get your speedo calibrated, most people have to. but the 28tooth gear will put you right where you need to be.

With a 28 tooth gear you will just screw up the gears in a hurry, the most you can possibly go with the 7 tooth, assuming that's what it is, is 23, otherwise I would be getting a 24 or 25 tooth gear for mine. I'm also going to be changing the speedo drive gear soon enough anyway, I'm going to put a 6 tooth drive gear then 21 tooth spedo gear is 3.5:1 so damn close for my my 3.55's
