id say it really depends alot on how stout the block was built. some are a little stronger than others from the factory. also, how well theyre built. id say balancing the motor would make it hold more power too. is say a good one could hold up to 600 hp or more. some will not even handle 400. so a good average would be 500 prolly, though youre taking a chance going over 400 in my opinion.
