WHAT A FAILURE.

RE: WHAT A FAILURE.
You can do a couple of things with the bushings. You can go with UPR sperical bushings($100.00) that replace the whole deal you destroyed or you can try to go the cheapy after market bushings and burn the rubber out of them so that you have the new sleevs that you need. I may have one good one here. I have to look. I did destry one. It was not coming out so the air chisel was used to remove it. I will have a look if you like and see if I still have onegood one left. As for lowering the car the traction bars should still work fine. Do you need one or both upper bushings?

RE: WHAT A FAILURE.
if anyone has them it would be great, i only tried to get the one, however i would like to get both, with my luck i will destroy the other one too. I work part time at advance auto parts. so i ordered a set in they will take 3-5 days. there is no picture of them so i have no idea if the rubber will show up or if it will have the metal sleeve on them... with my luck not.. ford cant even give me a straight awnser.. but hey i guess i have till spring... the engine is going back together on sunday. and as soon as i get this all figured out the slp cat back is goin on and she is getting fired up!! I have never been this excited in my life!

On mine I drilled the bushings until I was able to pull it out in pieces. But the rubber was all metaled to the sides of the sleeves. I then used a hack saw to cut through the metal sleeve. After that I banged a punch into the end of the sleeve and it popped right out.
