im not hijacking your thread, but do you have to pull the radiator when putting in a cam?

I no for the Sn95s you have 2, and for foxes your have to take the whole motors out...

Maybe stock configured fox's. But I didn't pull my engine to put the cam in. I don't have A/C, PS, smog or the OEM radiator though.

You do not have to pull the motor out to install a cam in a Foxbody, if you run AC, it wont clear the condenser...you have to basically strip it down to a longblock..A Z-cam, is outragious for a Stock Engine, try something like a E-cam, and yes, you will hafto do a pretty good bit of valvetrain work to get the Z-cam to work...i myself dont think it would be worth, "just for the sound"=

korey

You don't have to pull the motor out of a Fox Body either. Here are the specs on that cam:
Duration: 228°/228° @ .050'
Lift: .552'/.552'
Trans: 5-Speed
Notes: Fair Idle, Excellent Torque & Power To 6,500 RPM, Check Piston-to-Valve Clearances,
Requires Spring Pressures 340psi Open/120psi Close
The duration isn't that bad but the lift is to big for a stock motor. I personally would go with the E303 instead.

No matter what cam you get, you must change the valve springs. Stock springs are hardly good enough for the stock cam (in fact they are not god enough, but thats another topic)
