Default 90' 302HO in a 69 Mach 1-Build Up

Hello all. I am new to the forums, I'm 18 and have a question for you all. I am aquiring a 69 Mach 1 with a 1990 302HO and a 4 speed manual tranny. It has a 4 barrel carb on it. Gonna be used as my primary car.

Now that u know what i have i must ask. Can i get this 302 to get me into the 12's with a 5k budget? I've searched and searched, done my research etc. But figure asking here would be best. Heres what i'm thinking so far:
1. Trick Flow kit- (comes with Intake/Head/Cam's correct)
2. Supercharger around 6 psi
3. Peice parts together, example Headers, Intake, Head, Pistons, etc.

Can the 302 get up to that 400 hp? If so does it need any internal modifications?
And can i get this car in the 12's?

Thanks again, just trying to find the best route and what parts would be reccomended.

NO im just kidding. But you need to remember suspension also. All that power wont be any good if you cant get it to the ground. But the trick flow topend kit and a SC will be over your budget. At least for a good SC. Just get a SC and a good pulley, rebuild your bottom end with a forged 347 and you will be in your 12's

The suspension has been fully rebuilt. Will need some new tires. And heres how u will hate me even more I was gonna get a 1968 383 Charger for $2,500 From some old granny. Then my stepdad offered that if i buy the Charger he will trade me his Mach 1 for it. He has 2 Mach 1's. Cept the nice one is a 428 Cobra Jet.

So you reccomend Stroking the 302 to 347 with a Forged Crank? Will i have to replace anything else with this set up? Engine balance etc?

And are the superchargers for these 302's pretty much bolt on? Or will i need a Auto place for install. And what do you reccomend for superchargers?

Not just the crank but pistons and connecting rods also. As for the balancing im not sure but someone else on here will help you out. ANd yeah your a basterd for the charger and all that stuff. I would have kept the charger but its ok you didnt really get the bad end of this stick. And also yes the SC is bolt on, you can ask the guy BLACK SNAKE on here he is installing his right now.

Well lets think about this. You got the mach for 2500 so what if I give you 5000 for it? You double your money.

The charger needed a full engine and tranny rebuild. Woulda costed 5k just to get it running, the Mach 1 can get me where i need to go as is and i need sometin that runs.

Saw this super charger and it seems pretty much what i'm looking for.

--As for the 5k offer, lol, ima have to pass. I could flip that charger around for 7 if i wanted.

I'll trade you a 04 v6 mustang for the 69 mach. Could easily get 8-9k selling it. Its only got 31000 miles on it.

You know your going to have to convert to fuel injection to use that supercharger.

lol no more offers, its staying in the family

Well if it takes 5k to get this motor up to 400 horses, why not just get a 351 crate engine?

Crate engine would probably be a good idea.
