Default valve covers

so i know you can fit 1.7 RR under stock valve covers by taking off the baffle but i was wondering if you can fit them under fords "mustang, powered by ford" valve cover

these ones

you cound get an intake spacer. if anyting itll help your power too.

that's fine and dandy but i'm wondering if those valve covers can be modified to have 1.7 RR under then with out clearence issues

you could prolly get a dremmel and grind some reliefs in the metal. Those valve covers are fairly thick anyways.

Unless those are tall covers, you'll probably have to grind the baffles out of them. Another trick I learned is to get the rubber (metal ring inside) valve cover gaskets and use 2 on each side. It gives you more clearance.
