Doesn't like to downshift into 3rd
Hello,
I'm the proud new owner of a very nice and original 89 5.0 LX Hatch 5sp with only 70,000 miles(clean car fax and title). I love the car and she runs and drives like new. My problem is that it doesn't like to downshift into 3rd. Upshifting is effortless. I'm thinking I have a bad synchronizer in the T5. I hate the stock shifter although it is very tight with no vibrations or play. I've ordered the TRIAX. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
